About the Workshop
Designed to meet the needs of project managers involved in redeveloping

our most popular. By limiting class size, trainings are ideal for those interested in direct counsel
from the workshop speakers. This popular workshop sells out
quickly, so please register online early!

Curriculum
Recycling abandoned and under-utilized properties requires knowledge
and skills to manage contaminant issues. A practical and interactive
workshop, Brownfields 101 provides project managers with the
tools, techniques, and resources required to bring projects
in on-time and on-budget. The workshop curriculum culminates
in a case study that realistically illustrates potential project
outcomes. A typical workshop agenda contains sessions on the
following topics, presented by an expert from CCLR's extensive
assemblage of redevelopment experts:
- Regulatory and Legal Framework
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
- Phase II Environmental Site Assessment and Cleanup
- Environmental Insurance
- Financial Resources
- Establishing a Redevelopment Team
- Case Study

session

Our Perspective: Realistic, Optimistic
CCLR has provided environmental technical assistance to nonprofits,
for-profit developers, and local governments since 1996. Our
experience shows that armed with the proper management skills,
developers can consider more properties and reduce the time,
cost, and risk associated with contamination issues. With
the right tools and consultant teams, we have assisted hundreds
of properties that bear environmental risk to become economically
feasible and marketable properties.
"No fluff. The good and not-so-good of attempting brownfield
development."
Wayne Lambert, Brownfields Redevelopment Coordinator
Kleinfelder, Inc.
