On Friday, CCLR attended the grand opening of Fillmore Park, a 32-unit condominium complex in the Fillmore District of San Francisco that offers affordable homes to first-time homebuyers. It was a beautiful, sunny day to celebrate with new homeowners, neighbors, the project developer Michael Simmons, and the many partners that made the project possible. As the Strategic Partner to California's CALReUSE program, CCLR helped the project obtain and manage a grant to clean up the site, which was previously used by two rail companies.
Leroy King, a long time San Francisco Redevelopment Agency Commissioner and respected civic leader, was one of several speakers to praise the project and acknowledge the hard work that went into its development.
