Nevada Pre-Conference Workshop: Supporting Economic Development Through Brownfields Funds & Technical Assistance
On September 20th, the Center for Creative Land Recycling, in partnership with U.S. EPA, and Nevada DEP & Northern Nevada Development Authority held a pre-conference workshop focused on supporting economic development through brownfields funds & technical assistance.
Attendees at the workshop learned the experts on how to foster economic growth and create vibrant communities through land reuse and brownfield redevelopment. This workshop was designed for economic development leaders from local governments, nonprofits, and the private sector with an interest in learning the nuts-and-bolts of redeveloping environmentally challenged property to create stronger economies.
This practical and interactive workshop provides you with the tools, techniques, and funding resources required to jump-start your communities redevelopment programs. Seasoned brownfield redevelopment practitioners answered questions and discussed resources, funding programs and case studies, equipping attendees with the tools they need to move their projects forward.
