This workshop will provide attendees with the tools and insights needed to advance land reuse projects at all stages of the redevelopment process. Starting with an overview of economic development and housing opportunities and challenges, the workshop will highlight tools available to California communities, and will touch on all aspects of the economics of redevelopment of vacant and underutilized land.
Specific topics will include redevelopment and resilience along shorelines and waterfronts, as well as housing on former brownfields sites.

Fees and Scholarships
We collect fees to cover the cost of hosting and catering. We are committed to making our workshops affordable for a wide range of community-oriented groups, and therefore offer a sliding scale of rates. In addition, we are able to provide a limited number of scholarships to eligible nonprofits and local governments through the generous support of the Wells Fargo Foundation.
