National Brownfields Leadership Summit Planning Meeting

In September 2018, the Center for Creative Land Recycling organized the first National Brownfields Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. Over 90 practitioners from around the country joined us for two days of education and advocacy. Participants were vocal about wanting an opportunity to more directly influence the federal budgeting process.

That’s why on September 17-18, 2019, CCLR is organizing a focused planning session in Washington, D.C. to:
- Shape CCLR’s National Brownfields Leadership Summit 2020
- Hear the latest brownfield policy developments
- Tell Congress why brownfield redevelopment matters

The National Brownfields Leadership Planning Meeting will feature exclusive discussions with brownfield policy leaders and experts, in addition to hands-on opportunities to shape advocacy activities in 2020. To enhance our collective impact, CCLR and Smart Growth America are partnering to convene a meeting of the National Brownfields Coalition concurrent with this event.

Please view an agenda here. The agenda will be updated as speakers are confirmed. More information coming soon!
