5th Annual Redevelopment Summit: Land Reuse Lessons for 2020 Foresight

The Summit will commemorate a new decade and address how far we’ve come and where the redevelopment field can go from here. PLEASE NOTE: We are well aware of the rapidly changing national health emergency and place the safety of our community above all else. We are monitoring the situation and, with input from health professionals, will make a final decision about whether to proceed or postpone the Summit by mid-May. If for some reason postponement is not an option and we need to cancel the Summit outright, we will be offering full refunds.

Join fellow redevelopment professionals and practitioners for comprehensive learning and extensive networking focused on addressing challenges and creating opportunities for community revitalization.

Since the passing of The Brownfields Law in 2002, the reuse and redevelopment landscape has evolved tremendously. Land use best practices have been established, funding pools and financing strategies have evolved, and industry leaders have emerged. The groundwork has been solidly and strategically laid, so now is the time to build on what’s already been accomplished and set our sights on new and innovative means of improving the redevelopment field.

This year’s Summit will cover:

  • Next generation land banks, place making, renewable energy, and climate change’s impact on land reuse;
  • Latest guidelines on emerging contaminants and green remediation;
  • what’s new, trending, and on the horizon in brownfields policy and financing;
  • and more.

This year we’re also offering pre-conference activities including mobile tours and deep-dive workshops! See below for more details. Please note that Mobile Tours and Deep-dive Workshops do require separate registration and payment.
