A practical and interactive workshop that will provide project managers with the tools, techniques, and resources required to bring projects in on-time and on-budget.

Join the Center for Creative Land Recycling in a free half-day workshop and walking tour in Vista, focusing on recycling underutilized land for economic development, renewable energy, affordable housing and other uses.
Ian Webster with PV Navigator will explain the solar energy development process. Dan Johnson with SCS will demystify the regulatory process. Brendon Bergen with Affirmed Housing will talk about infill and affordable housing. Amanda Lee with the City of Vista will discuss the role of brewery clusters in mainstreet revival. And speakers from state and Federal agencies will identify the many funding sources that can be used in creative ways to redevelop underutilized properties.
This workshop will provide you with the tools, techniques, and funding resources required to jump-start your communities redevelopment programs. The day culminates in an urban brew-newal tour of brownfields redevelopment into affordable housing and breweries in Vista.
