Martha Faust
Biography
Martha Faust is a Redevelopment Manager with the Ramsey County Department of Community & Economic Development. Her role is to facilitate real estate redevelopment projects and initiatives within the County, acting as the lead on multiple County-owned properties including a 427-acre suburban former Superfund site. Ms. Faust recently led development of an economic competitiveness and inclusion plan for the County. She is currently supporting creation of redevelopment-related incentive funding as the County activates its Housing and Redevelopment Authority levy.
Previously, Ms. Faust worked for Minnesota Brownfields — a non-profit organization focused on reuse of contaminated land – serving as the organization’s first employee and as Executive Director for seven years. Ms. Faust also worked as a city planner for the cities of Saint Paul and Long Lake, Minnesota. She received a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School and bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and French from the University of St. Thomas.
