Biography
John Reekstin is the Executive Vice President of Community Development for The Olson Company. He directs the entitlement and land acquisition activities for the Company. During his 20 years with the Company he has overseen the entitlement of over 90 communities. Prior to joining The Olson Company, John was the Executive Director of the City of Santa Ana’s Community Development Agency, Redevelopment Agency and Housing Authority, and the Director of Administrative Services for the City of Huntington Beach. During his tenure at the City of Santa Ana John served as President of the California Redevelopment Association in 2004.
