Sierra to California All-Land Enhancement (SCALE) Conference

CCLR Consultant Sebastian Harrison is attending the SCALE 2026 Gathering (Sierra to California All Lands Enhancement), facilitated by the Sierra Institute for Community and Environment, in Sacramento from September 23–24, 2026. The SCALE Conference brings together a statewide network dedicated to community resilience, landscape restoration, cross-agency collaboration, and implementation funding, providing an opportunity to connect municipalities, nonprofits, Tribes, Resource Conservation Districts, and other community-serving organizations that may encounter contaminated or underutilized properties with regulatory resources, technical assistance, and brownfields funding opportunities.

Join Sebastian at his session: “Brownfield Basics, Tools, and Nature-based Solutions for Community Resilience” 1:25 p.m. Wednesday September 23rd. This interactive session will feature approximately 20–30 minutes of Brownfields 101 and nature-based solutions content, highlighting brownfield redevelopment as a tool for community development and environmental restoration, followed by a 30–40 minute facilitated discussion focused on participants’ real-world projects, potential barriers, and emerging opportunities.
