Nicole considers herself an intersectional environmentalist and is deeply passionate about protecting both people and the planet. In her free time, she enjoys doing anything that makes her feel connected to our home, which includes going on walks, foraging, visiting the beach, and learning about herbalism. Prior to joining CCLR, Nicole managed an urban forestry program at an environmental nonprofit. There she oversaw the planting of over 1,200 trees and engaged over 5,000 community members, educating them on the importance of our urban forests and proper tree care. It’s of the utmost importance to Nicole that her profession have a positive impact — which is why she’s so excited to join the CCLR team!
